Dr Amir Hossein Ordibazar

Dr Amir Ordibazar is a Lecturer (Education Focused) at the Canberra School of Professional Studies, UNSW Canberra, Australia. He holds a PhD in Management, specialising in Logistics, with a background in Industrial Engineering, and brings expertise in business informatics, management, strategy, risk management, logistics, and technology-enabled decision-making. He also has academic research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Rio Tinto Centre for Mine Automation at the University of Sydney and as a Research Officer at the UNSW Sydney Faculty of Engineering. His academic and professional experience combines strong analytical, research, teaching, and training capabilities, with a focus on business intelligence, IT governance, supply chain planning and optimisation, artificial intelligence–based decision-making, and organisational problem-solving. His research has been published in transportation planning, supply chain management, risk management, and logistics, and his teaching excellence has been formally recognised by both the University of Canberra Faculty of Science and Technology and the UNSW Canberra School of Business. His teaching and academic interests are centred on business informatics, project management, strategic management, governance, and risk in contemporary organisational and technological contexts.
