Dr. Anthony Chmiel is an academic in music and cognitive psychology, and a member of the UNSW Empirical Musicology Laboratory. His research covers areas such as music and aesthetics, emotions, perception, education, wellbeing, ageing, automated music recommendation systems, computation, performance practices, and voice acoustics. Anthony has more than 20 publications, and has worked on three ARC-funded projects concerning music. In some years Anthony is Course Convenor and Lecturer for MUSC3105 Psychology of Music and HUMS1008 Music on my Mind: Psychology and Music.
