Research Interests:
Current research includes: - regulation of fat mass in premenopausal and pregnant women, substrate metabolism in pregnancy; hormonal regulation of energy metabolism and body composition - sex steroid regulation of substrate metabolism - energy metabolism and body composition in chronic medical illnesses, eg chronic renal failure & insulin resistance . Gestational diabetes and its predictors.
