Ben Pecotich is a Social Entrepreneur-in-Residence for CSI UNSW's postgraduate Work Integrated Learning (WIL) course, COMM5030 - Social Entrepreneurship Practicum as part of a multi-award winning teaching team.

Ben is a designer, innovation coach, and social enterprise/startup founder. Over the past 27+ years he’s focused on designing and leading strategic change in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Europe - combining strategy, design, technology, consulting, and program management. This includes 27 years in financial services and 26 years working on startups and social enterprises. His core focus is coaching leaders to solve problems that matter and deliver great outcomes for people and our planet while making money.

Ben is the Design & Innovation Director/Founder of Dynamic4, a social enterprise and certified B Corp he founded in 2001 focused on design and innovation for happier communities. They collaborate with people to design and build ideas for happier communities that are more empowered, inclusive, and sustainable. Dynamic4 take a human-centred approach to helping their clients design sustainable business models with embedded impact and a clear value exchange - and design and build digital solutions that deliver and scale impact to thrive in a connected world.

Ben is the co-founder of the Sydney Design Thinking meetup, a community of more than 7,500 members who meet monthly to explore the world of design thinking as a human-centred approach to innovation and solving complex problems.

He's also a founding Board Member & Treasurer of the Social Enterprise Council of NSW & ACT (SECNA), the member-led peak body representing social enterprises in NSW and the ACT.
