Benjamin Chevalier

Benjamin Chevalier is a Sessional Academic in Textiles and Fashion, as well as a Fashion Technical Officer.  Her holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Ecole Superieure d’Art et Design de Saint Etienne (France). Currently practicing as a designer-maker specialized in knitwear, his skills were honed through years of experience in the fashion industry in Berlin, Germany and Sydney, Australia where he worked as a surface designer with a focus on hand-embroidery and later as designer for the brand Lou de Betoly creating handmade one-of-a-kind couture garments. His crochet creations were also seen on the runways of Romance Was Born in Sydney, Australia.
