Binh Nguyen received his PhD degree in Robotics & AI from Federation University Australia in 2025, researching smart navigation for aerial robots in complex environments. He currently is a Research Associate at the School of Engineering & Technology, UNSW Canberra, developing cutting-edge autonomous adaptive swarm intelligence frameworks for unmanned aerial systems (UAS). His research focuses on creating decentralized coordination systems that enable drone swarms to operate autonomously in dynamic environments, with applications in defense capabilities, surveillance, and emergency response operations.
