I am an Associate Professor of City Planning in the School of Built Environment, with a research focus on transport. I also serve as the Associate Director of the City Futures Research Centre, where I lead the Sustainable Mobility Program.
My research is dedicated to advancing urban sustainability and livability by enhancing the social, environmental, and economic impacts of transport. I strive to seamlessly blend transport with the urban environment while implementing transformative strategies to positively impact people's travel behaviour. Some of my current research includes studies on the travel behavior of public transport and active transport users, development of tools to aid in cycling infrastructure planning, optimisation of transport networks and services using artificial intelligence, and the development of a national cycling data and analytics platform.
