Dr Calvin Joseph Gomez

Dr Calvin Gomez is a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales who specialises in the experimental characterisation and numerical modelling of advanced composite structures. His research focuses on composite damage, impact behaviour, structural integrity, and non-destructive evaluation. He aims to combine experimental testing and computational modelling to develop reliable lightweight composite solutions for hydrogen storage and other demanding applications across the energy, transport, maritime, and aerospace industries.
