I use interdisciplinary approaches to understand how the biochemistry of the brain underlies brain function, and vice versa. A range of (mostly) collaborative projects crosses basic and more applied research, centred around the use of magnetic resonance technology both in vivo and in vitro.
Broad Research Areas:
Neuroscience, Metabolism, Neuropsychology, Neurology, Drug Related Harm / Addiction
Society Memberships & Professional Activities:
International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM), International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN), International Society for Cerebral Blood Flow and Metabolism (ISCBFM), Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB), Australian and New Zealand Society for Magnetic Resonance (ANZMAG; Company Secretary)
Specific Research Keywords:
Sleep-disordered Breathing, Medical Imaging, Neuropharmacology, Brain function, Neurochemistry
Medal of The Australian and New Zealand Society for Magnetic Resonance, 2017
