Dr Changming Sun is a Conjoint Professor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering of the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and a Principal Research Scientist at CSIRO Data61. His research interests include:

  • Computer vision, stereo vision, digital photogrammetry, 3D reconstruction, deep learning
  • Image matching/registration, image motion/optical flow, image mosaicking
  • Corner/junction/feature detection, linear feature enhancement and detection, image enhancement, circular shortest path, multiple paths
  • Imaging for digital agriculture, digital manufacturing, medical/biomedical image analysis, cellular image analysis
