Charles Zhuo is a PhD Candidate in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. His research focuses on soft functional materials and triboelectric nanogenerators for wearable, self-powered, and intelligent sensing applications. His current work explores 3D-printable dynamic dielectric elastomers with stretchable, self-healing, and humidity-adaptive properties for electronic skin and human–machine interfaces. He is interested in the integration of polymer network design, additive manufacturing, mechanical characterization, and triboelectric sensing to develop next-generation soft electronic systems.
