B.Eng., Chemical Engineering, The University of New South Wales, 2021
Dr Charlotte Zhu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney and a member of the Particles and Catalysis Research Group. Her research focuses on developing sunlight-assisted catalytic technologies for converting CO2 into sustainable fuels and chemicals through catalyst design, reaction engineering and advanced characterisation. Her work spans catalyst synthesis, high-pressure reactor development, and mechanistic studies supported by in situ spectroscopy, altogether aimed at bridging fundamental catalysis with industrially relevant processes.
She welcomes students interested in heterogeneous catalysis, CO2 conversion, photothermal catalysis and experimental reactor development.
