I am an H.D.R. Candidate at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, working under the supervision of Dr. Lee Zhao.  My research interests are in the analytic theory of L-functions.  More specifically, I am interested in the zeros, rate of growth, and order of vanishing at the central point for well-structured families of L-functions.  Preprints, &c. can be found on my homepage.

We aim to give an unconditional upper bound on the average analytic rank of elliptic curves over the rationals.  Previous results in this direction have relied on the Riemann hypothesis holding for various families of L-functions.
