Dr Chris Elliot is a Consultant General and Developmental Paediatrician and a Conjoint Lecturer with the School of Women's & Children's Health.

Dr Elliot received his undergraduate medical degree at Newcastle University (NSW, Australia).  He holds dual Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in both General Paediatrics and Community Child Health.  His special interests are in the health of vulnerable communities; child feeding, behaviour and development.  Dr Elliot is an instructor in Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and sits on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health.  He is the father of two young boys.
