Dr. Dabin Xue received his PhD. from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) in 2023, and his BSc and MSc degrees from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He was also a postdoctoral fellow at PolyU. He has authored or co-authored more than 10 research papers, with one selected as a research highlight by Nature Reviews Earth & Environment. He serves as the lead organizer of a special collection of Space Weather. Dr. Xue’s research interests include air traffic management, space weather effects on aviation, and sustainable aviation.
