David M Brock is an Honorary Professor at UNSW Business School, Professor of Strategy and International Business at Ben-Gurion University, and Research Associate at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria.  His scholarly work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Management Studies, Organization Studies, International Journal of Management Reviews, International Business Review, and Journal of International Management. He is a graduate of the University of South Africa, the University of Cape Town, and North Carolina State University. He is founding Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Professions and Organization (Oxford University Press), and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Management Studies and the Journal of International Management. His research areas include global dynamic capabilities, the international diversification of professional service firms, institutional changes in the professions, and how multinationals implement ESG.
