Dr David Darley
MBBS BSc (Hons) FRACP PhD
Dr David R Darley is a Senior Staff Specialist in Lung Transplantation and Thoracic Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. He completed a Fellowship in Advanced Lung Diseases and Lung Transplantation at the University of Toronto in 2017-2018. David was awarded a doctoral degree (PhD) in which he defined novel pathophysiologic markers of lung allograft dysfunction phenotypes. He is an Associate Editor with the Journal for Heart and Lung Transplantation. David's H-Index is 19 and he has >3500 citations. He was the Chair of the Transplant Society of Australia and New Zealand Lung Transplant Advisory Committee from 2022-2024. His research interests include chronic lung allograft dysfunction, eosinophils, novel pulmonary function testing and post-acute sequelae after COVID-19.

David is an Associate Investigator for 3 NHMRC MRFF Grants focused on the investigation of Post-acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC). He has been awarded grants through the St Vincent's Curran and St Vincent's Clinic Foundation.
