After working in the IT industry, I realised that computational skills can play a powerful role in advancing our understanding of disease and improving treatment development. This insight led me to return to university, where I completed 2 Masters and a PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, and structural biology.
For over nine years now, I have been delighted to work in biomedical research as a bioinformatician, analysing and interpreting genomic data to uncover the molecular drivers of disease and inform the development of targeted therapies and potential cures.
