Dr Ernest Tse is an Education-Focussed Associate Lecturer in the Food and Health Cluster of the School of Chemical Engineering, UNSW Sydney.  Ernest graduated from UNSW Sydney with a BSc (Hons) Food Science and Technology and a PhD Food Science and Technology, researching radio-frequency electric fields processing as a novel non-thermal food processing method.  Previously, Ernest was a member of the Educational Innovation team in the Faculty of Engineering as a Educational Developer.

Ernest's main duties are teaching into the Food Science programmes, mainly third/fourth-year undergraduate and postgraduate students.  Ernest has an interest in educational pedagogy, educational development, and project-based learning, but also in research areas of sensory analysis of foods, food analysis, and novel food processing methods.
