PhD in Quantitative Marine Science by the University of Tasmania. My main interests are on the interaction between ocean and the Antarctic ice shelves and its simulation using a circumpolar ocean-ice shelf model. My current research activities revolve around a mechanistic view of the ocean heat and salt transport in and out the ice shelf cavities and the impact of the ice melting in the ocean circulation, water masses, sea level and climate.
