I am keen on health systems research to address health inequities through the provision of integrated family-centred health services.  I obtained my BA (Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology) from Washington University, St Louis and my Medical Degree and Masters in International Public Health from University of Sydney.  My PhD, funded by NHMRC scholarship was awarded in Nov 2018 and titled ‘Strengthening health systems through the use of process evaluations.’ I am a senior research fellow, leading the process evaluation stream at The George Institute for Global Health. I provide guidance and support regarding the conduct of process evaluations of several collaborative projects (such as international stroke trials INTERACT 3, OPTIMIST; Salt reduction in China; use of e-health (physiotherapy and cardiovascular disease) in Australia)  and external projects (such as management of spinal cord injury in Bangladesh trial, and COPD management in Vietnam).  I am also an advanced trainee in Public Health Medicine through the  Australiasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine, Royal Australasian College of Physicians. My area of work involves process evaluations, qualitative research & clinical trials, with a special focus on Indigenous and global health priorities.
