I am a current postdoctoral researcher in A/Prof Matthew Baker's research group at the UNSW Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences School, Sydney, Australia investigating flagellar evolution and motility in bacteria. I completed my PhD at the Quadram Institute Bioscience, Norwich, UK and I am a graduate of the MSc Microbiology and Infection programme at the University of Birmingham, UK. I have had experience working in numerous professional laboratories both in the UK and abroad. I am a committee member for the Australian Society for Microbiology and the Joint Academic Microbial Seminars society, acting as an outreach officer and seminar organiser, respectively.

My Research Supervision
I am currently supervising two PhD students as a joint primary and secondary supervisor. I have experience supervising Honours students, with six Honours students successfully completed.
