Dr Jia Guo

Dr Jia Guo is a research associate at the Research Centre for Integrated Transport Innovation (rCITI), School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, UNSW. Jia received her Ph.D. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. Her research contributions involve various fields such as transportation, network design, healthcare, and power systems. Jia has multiple publications on the optimisation of freight train planning, air traffic controller scheduling, vehicle routing, transportation/logistics design, travel behaviour analysis and staff scheduling. She has extensive experience in mathematical modelling, decomposition algorithms, metaheuristics, machine learning methods and statistical analysis.
