I’ve filled senior engineering, maintenance, fleet development, safety, quality and risk management roles including holding various National Aviation Authority (CASA) approvals and have led the Engineering and the Maintenance businesses of Air Pacific in Fiji, and Ansett Australia and Qantas Airways Ltd in Australia.

My main career focal areas have been business strategy, business process improvement, change management, governance, regulatory compliance, operational and occupational safety systems, risk management, leadership development, employee engagement/communication and relationship management.

In addition to my role with the UNSW School of Aviation - offering a post graduate course in Airworthiness for Transport Category Aircraft - I have been a Board Director of the Qantas Foundation Memorial Ltd from 2011 to 2023 (Chair 2014-2021), the parent company of Qantas Founders Museum Longreach, Queensland; Past-President and Councillor of the Royal Aeronautical Society Australian Division Inc (RAeSAD) from 2010 to 2023; and Committee member of the RAeSAD Sydney Branch since 2010.
