Dr Josephine Helen Dwan is currently a sessional academic with UNSW Canberra with teaching experience across law and cybersecurity. She has previously worked as an Associate Lectrer at UNSW Canberra and has taught law at the ANU.

Dr Dwan recieved her PhD from The University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2024 for her thesis 'Legal Responses to Intimate Image Abuse: The Influence of Technology on Australian Law and Policy' which was fully funded by the Cybersecurity Cooperative Research Centre (CSCRC). Her work focused on the intersection of Australian law and technology and has a strong focus on interdisciplinary research and teaching.
