Kate Marshall currently holds a UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship (2018-2021) at the University of New South Wales. Based at the Heart Centre for Children at the Children’s Hospital Westmead, her work is focused on reshaping mental health care for individuals living with a complex congenital heart defect and their families. Kate works alongside the Australia and New Zealand Fontan Registry on the project 'From the Heart', a bi-national study examining psychological health and well-being among children, young people and adults with a Fontan circulation, as well as their caregivers and siblings.
