Professor Kathy Petoumenos
Kathy Petoumenos has interest and experience in observational cohort studies and clinical trials in HIV, Hepatitis C and sexually transmitted infections (STIs). She is currently the study leader for the Australian HIV Observational Database and lead statistician on both HIV and Hepatitis C clinical trials coordinated at The Kirby Institute.
Research Interests:
HIV cohort studies investigating trends in antiretroviral treatment and disease progression. Further, the impact of antiretoviral treatmenta use and onsent of non-AIDS comorbidities including age associated diseases such as cardiovascular disease and non-AIDS malignancies.
