Md Akizur Rahman currently pursuing his PhD in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. His research focuses on the development of innovative image processing methods, algorithms, and software systems for computer-assisted diagnostics, with particular emphasis on medical image processing (classification and segmentation), deep learning, machine learning, and AI. His contributions to the field have already made a significant impact, and he is widely recognized by his peers for his work.

In 2014, Md Akizur Rahman received his Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering degree from Prime University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He then continued his academic journey by receiving a Master of Information Science and Technology (Computer Science) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2019, where he distinguished himself as a promising young scholar. During his time at UKM, Md Akizur Rahman served as a research assistant (RA) at the Center for Software Technology and Management (SOFTAM) Lab, Faculty of Information Science and Technology, where he demonstrated his exceptional talent for research and innovation.

Throughout his academic career, Md Akizur Rahman has been recognized for his outstanding achievements, receiving multiple awards and honors for his contributions to the field of computer science and engineering. He has published numerous papers in top-tier academic journals and presented his research at leading international conferences, earning high praise from his peers and collaborators.
