Mikhail Isaev completed two postgraduate programs in 2014:
1) PhD in Applied Mathematics at Ecole Polytechnique, France.
2) PhD in Mathematics and Physics at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Russia.
Following this, he moved to Australia, where he worked as a Research Fellow with B.D. McKay at the Australian National University (ANU) from January 2015 to June 2016. Mikhail then took on a postdoctoral position under the supervision of C. Greenhill at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Afterwards, from August 2017 to October 2024 he held various roles at Monash University, including postdoc, lecturer, and DECRA Research Fellow. In November 2024, Mikhail joined the School of Mathematics and Statistics at UNSW.
