I am currently an Associate Professor and NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. I received my PhD from the University of Wollongong in 2013. After completing my PhD, I worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Houston (2013-2014) and the University of California, Los Angeles, USA (2014-2017). From 2018 to 2023, I was a Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University. My research interests include microfluidics, biosensors, lab-on-a-chip devices, and Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS).
