Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering

Mohammad Dehghanimadvar is an ACAP postdoctoral researcher in the School of Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering at UNSW Sydney. He received his PhD from UNSW Sydney in 2023. His primary research focus centers on evaluating the sustainability of the PV module manufacturing supply chain in both local and global markets, considering various policy mechanisms. His interests extend to PV manufacturing supply chain modeling and optimization, with a particular emphasis on understanding its economic, environmental, and social impacts, as well as developing policy strategies to promote local PV manufacturing. He is actively engaged in research collaborations with the Australian PV Institute, contributing to projects such as Solar PV Maps and Tools. Furthermore, he collaborates extensively with researchers in diverse disciplines, including life cycle assessment, techno-economic analysis, and data analytics.
