Monica Buckland has enjoyed a multifaceted career as a performer and educator.
In addition to 30 years as a conductor of orchestras, choirs, opera and ballet, she has lectured at Durham University (UK), the Palucca University of Dance and the TU Dresden (Germany), and was Principal of the Conservatoire supérieur et Académie de musique Tibor Varga, Sion (Switzerland).
She is an Associate of Newnham College, Cambridge, and a Board member of the International Alliance for Women in Music.
