Nathan Wang-Ly is an Online Program Director in the School of Psychology at UNSW Sydney. He leads the development of postgraduate programs that integrate psychology, business, and climate change, with a focus on applied, industry-relevant learning.

Nathan completed his PhD at UNSW Sydney in 2023 in the field of Cognitive Psychology, researching how uncertainty influences consumer saving decisions. He has published several articles examining human decision-making and how it can be improved in real-world settings.

Alongside his academic background, Nathan has extensive industry experiences an applied behavioural scientist. He has worked across multiple roles in major Australian banks, most recently leading the Customer Decision Science team at ANZ. In these roles, he focused on improving consumer financial decision-making and outcomes, and on building organisational capability to enable evidence-based decision-making at scale.
