Nicolas Chu is a global digital leader with more than 25 years of experience building and leading technology ventures across Asia Pacific, Europe and North America.
Since 2018, he has been a tenured Professor of Practice in Marketing at UNSW Business School.
He co-chairs the Marketing Analytics Symposium, the University’s flagship industry conference, and is co-Director of the UNSW Marketing Leadership Forum.
He develops industry driven research questions, advises faculty on research projects, contributes to course design, and acts as a key liaison between the University and industry partners. He serves on multiple boards and is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of leaders.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Sinorbis, a multi award winning technology company that helps organisations enter and scale in global markets through digital innovation.
Previously, he held senior executive roles at Expedia as Managing Director, Orbitz Worldwide as Senior Vice President, and HotelClub as President, leading large scale international operations across more than 30 markets.
Professor Chu specialises in go to market strategy, with a strong focus on measuring the sales impact and lifetime value of the marketing mix, particularly digital channels, as well as building brands and long-term brand equity.
He is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences, author of Reussir un Projet de Site Web, 6th Edition, and has contributed to several research papers.
