Dr Nicos Haralabidis
Nicos Haralabidis is a Research Associate at UNSW, working with Dr Luca Modenese. His research lies at the intersection of engineering, biomechanics, human movement science, and health technology. He is particularly interested in the development and application of computational methods to understand human movement and inform clinical decision-making.
His current research focuses on cerebral palsy, with an emphasis on the use of predictive simulations and personalised musculoskeletal models to investigate movement impairments and support the design of individualised treatment strategies. Before joining UNSW, Nicos was a postdoctoral researcher in Professor Scott Delp’s Neuromuscular Biomechanics Lab at Stanford University. He completed his PhD in computational biomechanics at the University of Bath in 2021, under the primary supervision of Dr Dario Cazzola.
