I am a researcher at UNSW Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy, working with the Canberra Kinetics Group under the direction of Professor Terry Frankcombe. Trained as a computational quantum chemist (PhD, ANU, 2017) with a focus on natural and artificial photosynthesis, my current research interests include the development of scientific software for problems in combustion processes, topology optimisation, and generative design, applications of periodic minimal surfaces to engineering, as well as the atomistic simulation and analysis of high-energy nanomaterials. I also collaborate with colleagues at the ANU College of Health and Medicine on various research and development projects. A generalist, I am also a skilled technical writer and illustrator.
