Dr. M.S. Sandeep is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at UNSW Business School. His research interests broadly lie in the social study of information systems in organisations and society. His research focusses on issues around digital sustainability, digitally-enabled social and business transformations, the design of information systems in various contexts. He has worked with a range of start-ups, Multinational Corporations and Public Sector Organisations. He has published his work in peer-reviewed journals such as European Journal of Information Systems, Information Systems Journal, The Journal of Strategic Information Systems, International Journal of Information Management, and Information & Management. Currently, he serves as an Associate Editor for the Information Systems track at the Australian Journal of Management.

Prior to joining academia he worked for a public policy think tank in Bangalore, India, with a research focus on decentralized e-governance and rural infrastructure projects. He was also a software engineer in a large global software services firm.
