Dr Sarah Ellis
BA.Psy(hons), B.Health, D.Clin.Psy, PhD
Dr Sarah Ellis is a postdoctoral research fellow and clinical psychologist at UNSW. She works across the Kids Cancer Centre, Sydney Children's Hospital, and Department of Reproductive Medicine, Royal Hospital for Women. Dr Ellis has been involved in multiple studies aiming to improve psychosocial outcomes for individuals dealing with a range of health conditions, with a focus on translating research into real-world improvements. She has particular interests in supporting children and adolescents with a chronic illness, and their families, as well as women and couples experiencing fertility issues and/or pregnancy loss. Dr Ellis completed a Bachelor of Arts-Psychology(Hons) and a Bachelor of Health at Macquarie University in addition to a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and PhD at the University of Sydney. Her PhD involved the development and evaluation of an evidence-based tailored sleep intervention for parents of children with cancer (CAT NAP: Carers at night in pediatrics).
