
Professor Sean Li is currently leading a research group, which consists of 6 full time research fellows, 12 Ph.D. students and 4 M.Eng. students, to work in the research areas of advanced electronic, photonic and multifunctional materials. His research has been funded with $5,550,000.00 AUD since 2007. Associate Professor Li has published more than 157 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He is a referee for 30 journals including “Coordination Chemistry Reviews”, “ACS Nano”, “Chemistry of Materials”, “The Journal of Physical Chemistry”, “Applied Physics Letters” etc. prestigious/primary journals, and also the assessor of research programs for several countries.
Professor Sean Li is not only teaching the courses of MATS1354, MATS1101 and ENGG1000 but also involving in the school’s marketing and administration activities. His research interest covers multifunctional materials, energy materials, defence materials and biophotonic materials.
