Professor Susan Connor

Susie is head of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) service at Liverpool Hospital in South Western Sydney Local Health District (SWSLHD) where she is a senior staff specialist and conjoint Professor with University of NSW Sydney, member of the Ingham Institute of Applied Medical Research and leads one of the SWSLHD Academic Units: South Western Sydney IBD Research Group (SWIRG). Susie is currently on the Board of the charity Crohn’s Colitis Cure and a co-designer of the IBD Software, Crohn’s Colitis Care (CCCare). She is on the executive committee for the ANZIBD Consortium as well as committees for Crohn’s and Colitis Australia and past Chair of Gastroenterological Society of Australia IBD Faculty. In addition to the CCCare software and e-Health, her research interests include Value Based Health Care, patient and clinician support tools in IBD, optimising patient/clinician communication and perianal Crohn’s disease.
