A PhD graduate from UNSW, Tara McLennan is a lecturer in the School of the Arts and Media within the Faculty of Arts, Design and Architecture. She teaches in media and cultural studies, with a particular investment in both photography theory and digital culture. She adopts creative practices to explore visual culture and a poetics of the past in the context of digital media ecologies. Her work uses media archaeology to query the relationship between images, material media practices, and memory.
