Dr Thomas Lalevee
PhD in History (The Australian National University)
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in History in the School of Humanities and Languages at UNSW, Sydney. My research lies at the intersection of intellectual history, the history of political thought, and the history of science. I studied at the University of Cambridge and the EHESS in Paris, before completing my PhD at the Australian National University. Most recently, I was a Gustave Gimon Fellow in Political Economy at Stanford University (2024-25). I am currently finishing up on a book on the history of early French social science, and will soon begin research on a new project on nineteenth-century Medical Utopias.
