
Twan Huybers is Associate Professor in the School of Business at UNSW, Canberra.
My research interests include the economics of tourism and the application of choice modelling methods in various decision making contexts. My choice experiment research includes tourist decision making (e.g. destination choices and museum visitation choices), household choices (discretionary expenditure decisions), sports related applications (performance enhancing drug choices and sponsorship decisions) and higher education related research (student evaluation of teaching and programmes, and academic research integrity).
My wide-ranging research applications have been published in international journals including Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Environmental and Resource Economics, Journal of Sport Management, Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport, Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education and Accountability in Research.
I have a Masters degree (cum laude) in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Maastricht and a PhD degree in Economics from UNSW.
