I am the co-ordinating PI for the SOCQERoOZ study in Australia (Surgery in Ovarian Cancer- Quality of Life Evaluation Research). This is a part of a bigger international multicentre study SOCQER-2. http://www.birmingham.ac.uk/research/activity/mds/projects/HaPS/PCCS/SOCQER-2/australia.aspx

Proposed research projects in near future:

  • Retrospective review of outcomes of women diagnosed with stage II endometrial cancer across two staging classifications
  • Retrospective cohort comparison of women diagnosed with node positive cervical cancer
  • Prospective analysis of role of sentinel nodes in endometrial cancer
  • Prospective analysis of role of sentinel nodes in operable cervical cancer
  • Role of neo-adjuvant chemotherapy and fertility sparing surgery in early stage cervical cancer
