Ms Yawen (Wendy) Chen
Dr. Yawen (Wendy) Chen is a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales in UNSW Canberra. She obtained her PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide in Australia. Before moving to UNSW Canberra in 2024, she was working as a Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in School of Computing at Otago University in New Zealand from 2012 to 2023. Her research interests include computer networks/systems, parallel/distributed computing, artificial intelligence acceleration, photonic computing/communication, wired/wireless networking, graph theory etc. She has published extensively in leading journals and prestigious international conferences, such as IEEE Transactions on Computers, IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communication, ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems, INFOCOM, IPDPS, ICPP, etc.
I am looking for PhD student who has background in photonic computing/communication, computer networks/systems, parallel/distributed computing, artificial intelligence acceleration, wired/wireless networking etc. ***Scholarships of $37,684 (AUD) are available for Ph.D. students ***
I am also looking for Master (by research) or PhD students interested in researching innovative pedagogies, particularly those involving AI-related Educational Topics.
