
I am an NHMRC Early Career Fellow at the Centre for Big Data Research in Health at the University of New South Wales. I got my PhD in Medical Research and Epidemiology at the Menzies Institute for Medical Research, University of Tasmania. My PhD studied the metabolic risk factors for osteoarthritis (OA) and the effectiveness of using vitamin D as a treatment.
I have published 54 peer-reviewed articles (20 as first author, 31 in past 5 years) in leading medical journals of clinical medicine, including first-author articles in the high-impact journals of JAMA, Annals of Rheumatic Diseases, and Arthritis & Rheumatism. My publications have been cited 547 times (h5-index = 13). I have obtained continuous funding totalled $ 606,731 since the start of his PhD.
