Dr Si is an applied economist, with a particular interest in ageing, health and related public policies. His research draws on insights from health and behavioural economics, implementation science, and social epidemiology to study three broad programs (i) healthy longevity and health inequalities, (ii) behavioural incentives and decision making, and (iii) digital technology and generative AI in healthcare. His research has appeared in prestigious journals such as Social Science & Medicine, Bulletin of the World Health Organization, Health Policy and Planning, The Lancet, International Journal for Equity in Health, JMIR mHealth and uHealth, and Journal of Gerontology Series a: Biological Science and Medical Science etc. His research has attracted 664 citations by Feb 14, 2024 (h10-index 21).
