Dr. Zhouzun Xie is an ARC DECRA Fellow (DE26) in Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, focusing on recycling processes for photovoltaic modules, process metallurgy, and the development of CFD-DEM models and machine learning in engineering. He earned his Ph.D. from UNSW in 2022, after completing his MEng and BEng at Northeastern University, China, in 2018 and 2015, respectively. His work has been recognized with several honours, including the Dean’s Award for Outstanding PhD Theses in 2023 and the UNSW Scientia PhD Scholarship in 2018.
