My research agenda focuses on the responsible design and use of emerging technologies to enhance learning, collaboration, and societal value. I lead educational innovation initiatives in curriculum transformation and the development of authentic assessment approaches, including oral assessment, to support AI-enabled learning environments. In parallel, my research collaborations with international scholars examine how emerging technologies can be designed to support value co-creation among diverse stakeholders. I also work across disciplines to develop design principles that enhance trust, responsibility, and productivity in AI-mediated systems. Together, these streams advance a program of research on responsible technology use that integrates educational innovation with the design of human-centred digital systems.
