Parents Online Info Evening | 6–7pm on Wednesday, 17 December | Online livestream
Empower yourself to support your child on their journey to university. At our Parents Info Evening, you'll understand your teen's options and learn how to provide the support they need to navigate their decision. The livestream will cover:
- Guiding your child through UAC preferences, the offer and admission process, and the support available to them
- How students can make the most of their uni experience
- Live FAQ: get your questions answered and understand what other parents and caregivers are curious about.

Info Day is an event designed for students to understand everything they need to in the time between getting their ATAR and when they need to lock in their uni preferences with UAC. Whether you're a Year 12 student or a few years out of school, or you're a parent – Info Day is for you. At UNSW Info Day, you'll find lectures, advisory zones and campus tours – all prepared to help you get your questions answered by academics and current students, so you can make your decision with confidence.
This year, ATARs are released the same day that UAC's December Round 2 preferences close, meaning Info Day is the best time to get last minute advice.

Aside from 18 December, there are quite a few upcoming dates that Year 12 students should mark on their calendars:
12 Nov: Gateway Admission Pathway Round 2 applications close
17 Nov: Portfolio Entry Round 2 applications close
17 Dec: Parents Info Evening (Online)
18 Dec: HSC Results & ATARs (NSW/ACT) released at 9am
18 Dec: Info Day at UNSW Kensington campus from 12–4pm
18 Dec: December Round 2 Change of Preferences deadline at midnight
23 Dec: December Round 2 Offers released

UNSW Info Day is held at our Kensington campus. We strongly recommend getting to UNSW Info Day via public transport – plan ahead and view our light rail or bus options. The closest lightrail stop to all our Info Day activities is the L3 UNSW Anzac Parade stop.
Limited parking is available at our Barker Street Carpark (access via Gate 14 on Barker Street) or our Botany St carpark (access via Gate 11 on Botany Street).
